I started New Road Media in 2004 as a digital media investment and outsourced business development agency. Previously I was in media sales, marketing and management at NBC-TV, Clear Channel, Children's Broadcasting, SONY Pictures Digital Entertainment and SONY Music Online.  My education includes a BS in Psychology and an MBA in Marketing, both from Binghamton University.

I have a particular excitement for the intersection of entrepreneurship and new media. I invest seed capital and/or time into my friends and colleagues' new media ventures.  I then serve these companies in a business development capacity where I create strategic alliances, investments and sales revenue for the company in return for a retainer and additional ownership.

These ventures have been great rides, with one even recognized as an Inc.500 fastest growing company. From each one of these ventures I have benefited from learning what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

What excites me the most however, is being an active part of developing entirely new paths of business for these companies.

I have a longstanding passion for building new ventures and have helped numerous management teams succeed in raising capital and achieving revenue traction through strategic marketing and business development services.  When I met David 10 years ago, it was clear we both shared a passion for the digital space and building companies. We first teamed up to fund and develop AltruNetwork.

Prior to collaborating with David, I worked in the interactive industry as strategist at a leading digital agency, management team member of early stage companies, and as a manager at large corporations including American Express, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and IBM. My education includes both a BS in Operations Research / Industrial Engineering and MBA from Cornell University.

 Since I first logged on with a dial-up connection I have been fascinated by what happens where digital technology and business instersect.

 My work has primarily been in payments, where I started in finance and moved through operations into loyalty, new products, and partnerships at American Express, MasterCard, and consulting to large firms and startups.  My education includes a BA in English Literature from Binghamton University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Today’s explosion of new firms are changing many business models and allowing me to do what I do best: connecting dots to make something new that is bigger than the sum of its parts.  Working with New Road Media increases the number of dots, the number of possible connections, and the value that I can help create.
